Night Jasmine N°6 is an authentic jasmine tea made according to an extremely rare traditional method known as enfleurage. Its remarkable fragrance brings us to a tranquil tea pavilion in the middle of a magnificent blooming garden of white Jasmine Sambac. In old times, the authentic way to obtain the fragrance of jasmine was through a technique called enfleurage. First, freshly plucked jasmine flowers are added and tossed together with the newly made teas. After a short resting time, this batch of flowers is removed from the tea and a new batch is added to the initial tea again. This process is repeated over and over, normally no less than nine times, until the jasmine fragrance thoroughly infuses every tea-leaf. This is how a genuine jasmine tea is made.
