    Green Bonbon N°21 is an exceptional hand-rolled Gyokuro made from the precious “one heart, two leaves” by the third-generation tea grower Fujinaga family. The fresh leaves are hand-rubbed and hand-rolled to form the perfect green tea needles. In order to preserve the distinctive fresh green note at its best, our tea grower follows an ancient recipe developed 350 years ago - shallow-steaming. The process of steaming is extremely short, lasting only 15-20 seconds - much shorter than any other Japanese green tea or Sencha. In this tea garden, the mountain spring and river fog are the unique water resources, which is an essential factor to let the tealeaves develop greater and interesting aromas. 

    This wonderful Gyokuro green tea works wonderfully both as ice-Gyokuro or as warm green tea. For an exotic experience, a dash of gin can be added to the cold brewed ice-Gyokuro. Simply delicious!
